Description of Work :

The piles are constructed with HR180 (Piling Rig), mounted on spud pontoon. The piles are anchored is hard rock by about 5 to 6 m. Piling is done in 18 m deep water.

The approach bridge also rests on 1200 dia RCC bored piles.

The approach bridge has two tiers - One tier for carrying pipe line and the other for movements of light vehicles.

Foundation :

1200 dia RCC bored piles (20 nos) - 26 m long approxly.

Pump have :

15.57 * 28.23 m

Approach Bridge :

60 m long

Remarks :
  • Water Resources Department Rajasthan governments have planned to supply drinking water from Bisalpur Dam (Banas River) to tonk, Uniyara and Deoli through pipe line. The requires Construction of intake of 76 MLD capacity in upstream side of Dam near periphery road of Bisalpur Dam.
  • The project of distribution system of water supply is being executed by L&T through separate Contract.
  • VMC is executing the work of construction of Pump House and Approach Bridge a part of this scheme.
  • The Contract envisages Design, Fabrication, Erection & Construction of 76 MLD Intake structure.
