Description of Work :

The Four lane river Bridge (total length 363.333 m and width 21.83 m) is consisting of:

Foundation :130 nos. of 1300 mm dia bored cast in situ RCC piles in Bridge. - 18 nos. of 1000 mm dia bored cast in situ RCC piles in Return  - Maximum depth of pile : 22 m (3.9 m anchored in hard rock in depth of Water: 10 to 12 m

Substructure : 10 x 36.333 m PSC I Girder (4 Girders)

Approach Length :12 m in each direction

Remarks :
  • Bored cast in situ piles were cast using spud pontoon in a gorge portion and other than gorge portion Hydraulic Piling Rig HR180 was used.
